MWHC Definition of Natural Horsemanship

Natural Horsemanship - is a term used to describe a sympathetic form of training, maintaining and interacting with horses.  It utilizes knowledge and understanding of horse's natural behavior to allow working in sympathy with the horse, rather than via coercion, intimidation or brute force.  It is an approach that is flexible enough to be compatible with horse enthusiasts of all skill levels and all disciplines.
